Catharine Viveash

With a master of arts in counselling, I am a qualified counsellor and registered with the Swiss Association for Counselling (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Beratung, SGfB). I am also registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am Level trained in Internal Family Systems and often integrate this beautifully compassionate approach. I am in the process of becoming certified.

Born to British parents, I grew up in the UK and America, moving to Switzerland in early adulthood. After studying a bachelor of science in psychology I pursued a career in human resources, studying further for an MBA. My transition into parenthood triggered my longstanding passion for mental health and I began my journey into counselling. I have experience working with adults, young people and children, as well as working as a counsellor within a school setting.

I am also a registered facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting programme, for parents of children between the ages four months and six years old. In small groups we unravel the intricacies and challenges of nurturing a secure attachment relationship with our children.
